The sepearation of church and state was meant to keep the stat out of church affairs. Most religions except the Catholic Church supports abortion in the case of rape, incest, or the life of the mother.

I DONOT agree with delivering a baby full term and making it comfortable while mom decides if she wants to keep that child. If she doen't let's kill it? That is blatant murder. I take issue with the abortion rights activists running to states like Colorado when they introduced a bill making an unborn child a person. Oh the abortion rights activits hit this state and said they are coming to take awy your right to an abortion, when all they were trying to do was mke it easier for prosecutors ro prosecut crimininals for killing the unborn. It wasn't passed. The abortion rights activists won again. We have had a woman who was on her way to the hospital full term, hit by a drunk driver. The baby was killed, but because it didn't take any breaths, it wasn't classified a human and no manslaughter charges were filed against the man. If that bill had passed he could have been prosecuted. We had a woman cut a baby out of another womans stomach same scenario, the baby didn't take any breaths so the prosecutors couldn't prosecute. You don't tell your friends your are having a fetus do you? No you say you are having a baby.

Courtney, I am not in tune with religion. But the words you have written are spoken like a true athiest. The church of England was the church that determened everything religiously. That is what our founding fathers meant by no state sponsored reliogion. We were free to worship our own God in our own way in this new country.

I worked with a woman at Continental Airlines who had eight abortions in three years because her or her husband didn't want to be parents yet. Three years later she was upset because she couldn't get pregnant. I told her God gave you eight children and you killed them all, so why should he give you any more.
