The probation life from hell. Join me. I have been trying to get my probation moved from Colorado to Virginia since I was released from jail on January 3. It has failed. The first time Virginia said no. The second time Virginia has said no. Now I am trying my third time, which means I will have spent $300 for this process.

Meantime I have to live in Colorado until Virginia says yes or no. On Virginia I have an apartment my own place and no one to bother me. In Colorado I live in a homeless shelter. I can’t afford the rents and all of my fees and or classes living on Colorado.

But this is going to kill me one way or the other. Since I have been out of jail I was hospitalized with omnicron pneumonia and suffer breathing difficulties still. I have a urinary track infection with cellulitis.

I still fight on daily. But what angers me is another homeless individual knowing I used my laptop for work every day would have the guts to steal it the day I went into the hospital.

You may have earned $200 selling it on the streets or the pawn shop. But you took money that I could be using to pay court cost and fees. You also stole my ability to earn a living. The day I met my probation officer she gave me a list of prohibited employment and inappropriate activities. Every form of employment is off limits to me. I am banned from libraries, sporting events, movie theaters, concerts, gay bath houses, pride parades, movie arcades. I am banned from working as a clown, Santa, ticket taker, pizza delivery driver, nurse, nursing home, Scout leader. This is just a partial list.
