Taj Farrant, Tennessee Whiskey

Taj Farrant is the youngest guitar player ever to be sponsored by Gibson at age nine. In this video Taj is nine and playing Tennessee Whiskey. But he is twelve now and has quite an accomplished music portfolio already.

Taj has already been on the Ellen De Gengeneres, He has been on stage with none other than Carlos Santana himself, he has also been on stage with Rob Thomas, the queen of rock Orianthi herself invited Taj to play. Ash Grunwald. That is quite an impressive list of stars to be on stage with before the age of thirteen. He was on Australia’s got talent and made it to the semi finals. He has written and produced his own album.

Why do I bring up this internet sensation? I want others to learn of his musical talent. His sister plays the drums and she is on the album with Taj. But what sparked this young mans interest in playing the guitar? When he was six his father and grand father took him to see AC/DC in concert. When everyone stood up he wanted to get on his grand fathers shoulders for a better look. He watched Angus Young play shook me all night long . He looked down at his dad and said he was going to do this for the rest of his life.
