Such beauty

Roanoke in the fall

As I was on a Greyhound heading north to Roanoke from Wytheville. As we were riding up the interstate, I noticed the purple lilac bushes had bloomed and mixed together with the white and red dogwood trees. The beauty was a site to see.

It is springtime in Virginia and life is anew. I saw some robins flying around, which means the arrival of spring, but also I saw our state bird the cardinal flying around. It was still a cold night in the thirties…
