Sex abuse scandal rocks another church denomination

We all know about the Catholic Church, Latter Day Saints, Boy Scouts. Move over folks, sex abuse is now rocking the Southern Baptist Churches. From the years of 2000 to 2019 lawyers for the denomination would keep the names of preacher's secret who was involved in sexual abuse of children. They wouldn’t notify that pastor’s former church nor the new church he was about to take over.

But that isn’t the only scandal facing the church, also, critical race theory is a scandal the church is facing. This caused about fourteen percent of the black congregations to consider leaving the convention. Now this church is roiled with conflict. I have already been ex-communicated from an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church at age fourteen. I have been abandoned by another Independent Fundamental Baptist Church this year. I have sent my pastor five text messages and he has refused to respond.

But let’s continue with the Southern Baptist Churches now. Jimmy Carter left the church before he became president because they wouldn’t ordain women as preachers. I wonder how much the church will have to pay their victims. I wonder how many victims there are out there. How many boys were molested by these pastors? This is why I give up on organized religion. How many denominations are involved in a sexual abuse scandal? The Southern Baptist was one of the better denominations around in the 1970's.
