Once again Veterans of the United States are being neglected

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas confirmed that his department is in talks to divert Veterans Affairs (VA) resources, doctors and nurses to help care for illegal immigrants Wednesday. This takes care away from the veterans who sacrificed so much this country. A man or woman goes into the military they write a blank check to the United States for any thing up to and including their life. They know this, but when we get injured in the military, we have to fight the government tooth and nail for all the compensation and benefits we are entitled. I have been tied up in court for over six years for one issue. I have applied for four more issues that I haven’t even heard on yet.

In a letter to the president, Senator Ted Cruz asked for Biden to clarify if he planned on allocating scarce resources from the Veterans to illegal immigrants. The Department of Homeland Security has been considering potential strategies for dealing with the anticipated influx of migrants when CBP’s Title 42 authority is revoked,” Cruz said in a statement. “Reportedly, one such strategy, according to a source from within CBP, includes diverting VA medical personnel and deploying them to the border.
