Let's go back to the 1960's when I was growing up as a gay youth. The first person I was caught in bed with was my mother's boyfriend. My mother started to call me "queer boy" after that. Growing up during that time period, you could be fired if they thought you were gay. It was forced sterilizations and lobotomies in California, if you were gay. Gays had no rights. Then the uprising at Stonewall happened. My parents went to Jerry Falwells church, and I was ostracized, then ex-communicated. When I was caught in bed with a really gorgeous boy in the neighborhood, my father and stepmother put me into a camping trailer 200 yards from the house. I was banned from the house and my meals were left on a hot plate. So now in most states it is considered child abuse if you don't accept your child's sexuality.

Between the physical, mental and sexual abuse I suffered as a child, is there a wonder I am gay? I was sleeping with adult men at age eight and sleeping with boys younger than me at age 8. When I turned 18 my boyfriend was 11. I don't push my sexuality on anyone, especially children. My 16-year-old niece came out as gay and I support her. I don't tolerate any hate speech of LGBTQ adults or youth.

I have followed you, clapped and commented.
