I went to college straight out of the military. They didn't pay everything so I had to have loans. I earned my masters which cost me $85,000. Today at age 61, I owe over a quarter of a million dollars in repayment for my student loans. I have had ten different processors over the years. Based on my income and expenses I didn't make enough to pay in my loans back. What will $20,000 do to help me? Not a damn thing plus I live in a state where any amount of debt forgiveness will be taxed. No student loan relief for me please.
