I know how you feel. I was hated and despised by my mother. I was beaten and abused by her for no reason and if that wasn't good enough either my father or her boyfriends would beat me half to death. Then her boyfriends would beat and rape me to add insult to injury. My mother never protected me from these men. But today I live as a gay man. I wrote a piece just for her on mother's day.
